LOW PLACES is a high-strangeness murder mystery with extraterrestrials, punk rock, cattle mutilation, teenage gumshoes, graverobbery, carnivorous plants, maybe Bigfoot (maybe), and Midwest small-town bullshit.

The first script I ever wrote is called THE MOTHMAN. It’s found some love in competitions and been the conversation starter with many of the people I’ve worked with or hope to. It’s the “fuck it” script that helped me process a gnarly brain injury and allowed me to create for the first time again.
MOTHMAN is about a monster-obsessed pro wrestler who seeks experimental drugs to help heal his increasingly mushy brain and finds himself in an ever more horrifying, absurd world that might be of his own creation.
As a massive lifelong fan of the slowest fucking sport on Earth, I felt compelled to create a version with a little more punch. JUICE is a darkly satirical hour-long sports show about a few of America’s favorite pastimes: baseball, drugs, and violence.
Throw Kenny Powers into RE-ANIMATOR and surround him with the textured, character-driven, emotionally powerful worlds of Noah Hawley or Vince Gilligan or Lynch & Frost — that’ll probably put you on the right mental track.
